Street Smoker

Great find!

It should almost be enough to feed those fat injectors that you have!

Who is the new vendor?

When will they come out with their kits for my 05?

Rick

Hey guys. I'm going as fast as I can on the in-tank truck development right now. I'm a one man show and trying to get everything done in a timely fashion without dropping the ball.

Just to clear one thing up. The regulators come set for 17 psi and higher pressures will be by request only.

Richard

Richard, nice job with the kits. Looks very professional. You done good... :)

I persnally think the air seperator is BS. As for using the Walbro on a modded CP3, I would go with the 392, cause they need a higher opperating press. around 40psi. If you look at the flow graphs, the Walbro is stll putting out 60GPH which should be plenty to run anything short of a 1000hp sled pulling beast. In fact, Id be willing to bet that at 40psi, the Walbro 392 will outflow even the 150gph fass. But I don't know for sure, cause Fass Ind. can't/won't provide a flow graph for theur pumps.

Typical Life span is 10-15,000 Hrs on these new motors. Here is the flow chart on our pumps......

The ones that have been out since 2003 with the serviceable brushes and the units with the non-serviceable brushes:

95 gph unit:

0 psi 84 GPH
10 psi 72 GPH
20 psi 66 GPH

150 GPH unit:

0 psi 150 GPH
10 psi 138 GPH
20 psi 126 GPH
30 psi 114 GPH
40 psi 96 GPH
50 psi 72 GPH

The new units that have the Larger/Higher RPM motors:

95 GPH unit:

0 PSI 102 GPH
10 PSI 96 GPH
20 PSI 96 GPH
30 PSI 90 GPH
40 PSI 90 GPH
50 PSI 90 GPH
60 PSI 78 GPH
70 PSI 78 GPH
80 PSI 78 GPH

150 GPH Unit:

0 PSI 210 GPH
10 PSI 204 GPH
20 PSI 204 GPH
30 PSI 198 GPH
40 PSI 186 GPH
50 PSI 180 GPH
60 PSI 162 GPH
70 PSI 156 GPH

This new bigger motor pumps were just released this week and can be set to higher pressures and still get the 10-15,000 Hr lifespan. We feel that the heat is better dissipated through the air than rather introduced into the fuel. Every units Amperage is checked to make sure that it draws with in the limits of the motor to get max life at set pressure.

Soon to come will be a 300 GPH 50 PSI pump...but that will be for special applications only!! :)

Wow, if the new pumps can really put out that much flow, then why the need for a 300gph pump? There is no way our engines can use 150gph at 70psi, much less 300gph.

Ah, the great American selling point:

"If Big is Good, Bigger is Better"

Green04HO 04-08-2006 08:23 PM

What size lines are these pumps going to use? A pump that size would need 5/8 lines. Race pumps that flow that much run 12 AN lines. These pumps also run 2000 HP motors.

I didnt say that it was for a Dodge..... [whistle]

Well, TexasCTD is still running the walbro set up. He was my neighbor back since 2003. We now live further apart, but keep up yearly or so. So, 13 years and 280,000 plus miles on his. Blast from the past. He still has the original CP3. Of course they are designed for 1 million miles, so......it should be if fed clean fuel.

Wow Don. Good to see ya. Talked to Robert over txt not too long ago.

As for me I’m done with the Fuel Pump mumbojumbo.....haha

I'm happily running my 392 still. It's been a long time and now continues to feed my MM3 tuned twin turbo 6.7 swap as well.

My 392 finally kick the bucket after 13 years, replaced with another for $119...
