that's the set I have and I love them. They spool like now!! and cool everything I can throw at them so far

I went with hammerite blue though.

 

Everything is in EXCEPT the tranny dipstick. Piers spent the money to get everything else right, so they should include more than "bend the dipstick to make it clear the downpipe and top turbo."

tommorrow after i yell at Piers the installation will be completed and road tested.

 

Don't yell at piers over that. Such a minor thing. I'm willing to bet that on some trucks you don't have to bend it and some you do. Instead spend your time installing the dipstick and playing with the truck.

it's more than just the dipstick. Piers did not provide instructions to the previous owner and after he asked for instructions, he was faxed a copy of very rough instructions. Pictures are totally useless and nothing is clear.

its not just a minor bend in the dipstick, its a total different shape to make it fit. you are welcome to come see this yourself if you would like.

its amazing to me how close EVERYTHING is in this kit. some of it almost seems impossible but somehow it goes together.

Do you get to keep your passenger side battery where it is?

Twins are a very tight fit. Just ask anyone who's built a set. Very little room to work with.

 

battery stays but the kit has a different shapped battery box for it.

 

also, the relays that are on the side of the battery box are moved to the front

 

They are a pain to get together, but you will love them once you get on the road!
