Hey all,

I'm the proud owner of a 2005 CTD 2500 4x4. 4 dr, Automatic. I'm wondering what the preferred brands and order of performance upgrades that everyone suggests.

I'd like to get more power (like us all), but really don't wanna open the exhaust right now (I enjoy the quiet ride after my last car).

Lastly, I only have 175 miles, should I wait until a certain mileage to add performance items? Which ones can I get away with without voiding my warranty? The dealer seemed to think that the chips wouldn't affect the warranty at all, but I'd prefer actual experiences.

I have a edge juice with attitude, I like it because all of your guages are in the control unit, also will not give you the horse power until the eng temp comes up too operating temp,a good saftey feature.

 

Gauges FIRST,a AFE drop in or Stage 1 kit.A BIG Donaldson muffler.Leave the cat.alone.Your DEALER is WRONG! Get caught with a performace box and a warranty issue on engine or trans etc. and repeat after me" I AM MY OWN WARRANTY STATION" D.C. even sends out MEMOS to the dealer about how to check for a box etc. as I'm sure the other manufactures also do.

 

True very true, But on a PLUS note....atleast we can still add boxes. All new powerjokes from the factory, and that go in for a reflash can no longer use programmers or modules....LOL
They have blocked everything....so their gutless wonders must stay gutless....LOL
