Welcome!
I always bring an iced coffee to my mechanic, and if it's a pain in the neck job I'll bring a few $$ or a gift certificate to a local restaraunt! Keep the tech happy, makes a big difference. Remember they tend to get paid less for warranty work than if you were paying out of pocket.

I have the 140 hp box and find that the best mileage is had running in the off position. Maybe a little timing is still added at this setting without additional fuel............not sure.

What kind of mileage are you getting in the off position ram?
I had not heard that before, but then again I think most would not think to try it on that setting.

I could see where some could be getting better mileage when off simply because of the thrill factor when using the box with
any of the HP settings.

All things being equal, the off position yields better results than the 60hp setting, which is better the 100hp position. Each step loses ~ .5 - 1 mpg or more in my experience. Mixed city/highway driving yields 15mpg on average using the 60hp setting and ~17mpg using the zero setting.

I did have the 30-60-100 quad box at one time and though the 30hp setting is advertised to improve mileage, there was no noticeable performance improvement and was never used.
