Hey guys, im looking to get my trans rebuilt. I talked to a shop and they told me since im running 37 inch tires and running a smarty and xzillaraider, that a extreme towing set up is in need for me. they recommend a towing TC and a new VB. they said it is rated up to 500hp. which i dont think ill be going over 500hp. i just wondering if im getting the right info here. whats your guys say on this?? anything else im ganna need to upgrade as well or will the TC and VB do it for me?.......

what is the brand they install?

with that size if tire and the amount of power that your stack is producing, you should really look into a flex plate, input and possible an output.

 

where are you located, and I will suggest finding an installer near your for these guys : http://www.goerend.com/torqueconverters.php down the bottom of the menu left side is the list of authorized installers.
