I switched to the 8" single stack and the ole' lady isn't real happy about the drone. Who makes the loudest 5" muffler available. I need something that's quieter then straight pipe but louder then a donaldson. I've been thinking aeroturbine or maybe flow pro.

 

Go for the Flo Pro Twister. That's what I use and I love it. I have a video of it with 6" stacks if you're interested.

To bad you are not closer to me as I have a 5" Silverline that was to load for me that you could have. Donaldson was put on in its place...

 

Tell her you need twin turbos... the second turbo killed most of my drone.

I made the earplug suggestion and she didn't like that at all. I like it but it is loud when you put a load on it.

40" Donaldson has a lot of sound....no raspyness...all deep, much louder than the 51"...and no drone at all

 

not too big on donaldson's way too quiet

 

My bro in law has that dynomax muff in 4", and its ok, but its considerably quieter than my truck.

 

i have the aero and it is quieter than straight pipe but still sounds good. i've heard it on both 4" and 5" exhaust systems both are good
