The stocker/s400 will support your planned mods for what that's worth. Also, spool is going to be very similar to stock.

I have nathans stock over S-400, this video (fuel only, notice the lack of smoke even at 5800Ft elevation) speaks for itself.

It is a tad laggy here in Utah at 4000 feet elevation, but I've never really thought of it as an issue. UNTIL, I went to the California coast a few weeks ago. I was able to punch it from a stop and it was instant-spool! Completely changed the truck!

I'm considering dropping to a 65mm wheel on my top turbo to quicken spoolup here in Utah.
Where I live it's about 4,400 if I remember correctly. I do go up to 6,000+ from time to time aslo.

That is a pretty hot setup right now. I know Shane runs it (was banned from here) and loves it. I think that may be what goes on my truck, hopefully by this winter.

Thats what I run in my truck. My dyno #s are a little low due to no tunning time and running with my 22.5"s an 37"s. Tim says next time around he can get me 800-850 and thats about all on #2 only with this set up.

Do you have the specs for the S480? (compressor & turbine sizes, and exhaust housing)

I'm working with a set of Nathan's towing twins - they aren't going to be enough air to meet our HP goal, so I'm deciding which primary to swap in. (thinking I need to knuckle up with a 488 or similiar for ~125lbs air/min)

p.s. you should have your BOE by the weekend, Ryan... these production kits make the prototype stuff on my truck look like junk!

The 488 wont hold up. People have tried and had zero success. I believe Tim barber tried something around that size and it went kaboom at or around 920hp

So what does Tim recommend for an alternative at that level of airflow?
