MPG help, newbie
Hey I am new here, just picked up a 2003 cummins, has edge juice, with just toggle switch and k&n drop in filter. The over head gauge reads 22-23 but when I calculate it at the pump its 18. If I run on setting three I get the best mileage. Also looking for next step in power without loosing reliability. (if that's possiable) Any help would be awesome. Thanks Jason
Let it breathe a little better. Get a straight pipe or a free flowing exhaust. Leave the EZ.
Make sure that your tire pressure is at the max.
Clean the truck, inside and out. Less garbage in the truck, less weight. Clean outside lets air flow better.
Coast to stops, keep 2x the distance from the person infront of you.
If you really want to see the milage go up, get a bunch of tacks taped to the go pedal, and drive with your right shoe off...
