Exclamation MP-8 Plug-In Question...

I have been searching for the thread where my question was answered but to no avail. I have been having problems with my MP-8 and think it in plugged in incorrectly. When I turn the dial to about 0-5%, the truck runs REALLY lean and then stalls. This is obviously not normal operation. Someone said that with '06s, they are plugged in differently, or something like that. Anyone know what could be the problem or what the fix is?

There were some jumper wires that you have to connect initially depending on which truck you have. You may have plugged these jumpers in wrong and your box thinks you have a Powerstroke or Duramax!!

Do you still have your directions???

I think I do. If not, the dealer should who put it in. Were the jumper wires separate from the plug?

cquestad: I talked to Dennis. He said to try the MP-8 by itself (i.e., without the TST) and then see if I still had the problem.

Yes. They were a couple inches long and I think they needed to be plugged into the box itself. I really can't remember. I would definitely check there first...
