You need to ask yourself will you need duals in the future. If you are happy with a 500 or 600 hp truck a modded single will be fine. If you plan to go higher than that duals seem to be where it is at. I will hopefully know by next weekend about dual modded pumps. We will see where that goes.

i have a dual setup as well also very soon to have a selectable dual single setup. duals when you need them single when not. this should get rid of some of the problems encountered with duals.

Ted,
What kind of problems are you seeing out of the dual setups?

not really any problems should have worded it better, if it is not done correctly or is thown together bad things can happen. adjustability is always good.

Well we know the reason the dura mad a 1000 is because of fuel pressure blah blah. How do you get that out of the common rail, I say you need to run 2 rails and 2 cp3's with custom injector lines. 3 injectors runnin off on rail and one cp3.

I've done 641 out of my truck with II's pump and I gain over 6 tenths in the 1/4 with just the pump nothing else.

Chris what are you running in the 1/4?
Oil smell: I'm looking for 650HP and want to spray to acheive a little more. I plan on going with some dynomite 120-140HP injectors

We made 650hp with a stock cp3,#2 only. After considering modified pumps, we're going straight to the dual pump setup.Stepping stones cost money......

That's the route I'm taking. Hopefully I can put some flux 4's in at the same time.
