that's obvious just by the pictures posted that started this thread. Just depends on have much money you have or... how stupid you are with your money

Me, I'm probably just stupid with my money as I'm not rich by any means. D.Wiggs on the other hand

I'll be the first in line for the long bed version. A tank and a tool box are a must on any truck of mine.

not calling anyone stupid. your truck is very sweet triton, but lifted mega/srw's are way too common out here. and MOST (not all) when they are done up, are almost always done the same way.....similar to yours. now if i wanted to be stupid with my money, i sure wouldn't want to use it to build a truck that everyone else has. i would want to try and be as unique as possible. that is why the mega/drw appeals to me. but in the end, to each his own.

oh, and another thing. i do not share pics like these to put other peoples trucks down. the only reason i share pics like this is because i am sure there are others like me that are curious to see what different setups look like to save us from throwing money away at bad ideas. i search all over the net looking for pics of mega/drw's to get an idea of how i want to build mine. i get to see what looks right and what doesn't without wasting any money. i feel that having a source of different truck pics can help one make the correct choices when builiding a rig.

this is the same thing i went thru before building my 7.3. lots of research. i was very happy with the outcome.

Front bumper looks goofy. Too tall, to pimped. Guess I'm just getting old. I had a lifted '76 Scottsdale in '78 with mudders and all that. Musta gotten it outta my system.

No problem darren, I wasn't and am not arguing with you. I was merely pointing out that it can be a stupid thing to spend the money it takes to build a truck to some that are ( not so wealthy ) and much easier for those with deep pockets. The truck you posted is a exhibition truck period. I bet it sits around someones shop most of it's life. I know you only posted it to show it. It is a cool truck.

As for building a truck that looks like everyone elses.... my build came from me. I live in a town that has four stop lights so, mega's aren't on every corner. I've done it before and when I put a truck together, it's done looking at different products and not anyone else's truck. Those guys where you live must have found my truck online and copied it

Really though.... I wasn't trying to offend you at all. Just talking about the ridiculous amount of money that can be spent whether it be with my truck, the trucks where you live or the truck in the post.
