mix and matched some air horns...
I got the horns on the truck alot closer to what I wanted them to sound like... I use a mix of hammer4's and a set of Kleinn 220's.. They finally sound pretty good... The nice thing is that I was able to use "dead spaces" to make the install completely hidden.. No removing the spare tire or anything like that and the compressor / tank is up inside the drivers side front fender well above the plastic liner, so it is very much out of harms (dust, water, etc.) way...
here is the link for the little video of them...
first one recorded at about 35 foot away... first the factory horn and then the big horns...

now from about 65 feet away... first the big horns then the factory ones...

The line is a 3/8 dia hard plastic tube with a thin wall (bigger inside then regular 3/8) it has a 900 psi burst strength... It came from seige when I bought the hammer4 horns.... I don't know why it wouldn't be a better idea to just run some good quality compressor hose instead. It would make adding fittings and accessories down the road much easier and cheaper, those "hard line" fittings get expensive fast and can be moody when trying to get an air tight seal....

I will give you the link to the photo bucket account I use... The pictures are not in any order so you have to fumble through, but you should get a pretty good idea...
here you go:
you will see a couple of brackets I made to mount the compressor (very easy to make) so it would mount up inside the well and used existing bolts (ones that hold the battery tray) to fasten it... So far I think I have only drilled one hole into the truck (in the factory horn bracket) for a ground screw. Other than that, I used existing holes or bolts (I don't like cutting on my truck)....
