How many miles have you racked up running 4.4? Any injecter failures?

 

So far going on 7,000 miles and the truck runs like a top day in and day out. I've had some 4.2 drive time in between that too, and while it has a little more power, the timing rattle and rough idle at startup make me uneasy. So 4.4 goes back in tomorrow!

 

Approx 15k miles on 4.4 with stock sticks....runs like a champ! I dont drive a lot of freeway (were 75+mph is 20kpsi on the rail).

 

I had the rattle before I did the CP3 mod and know I can not get any rattle. Have you ever heard of that.

 

No, but the additional fuel could be making the truck more effecient at idle as well, Making better timing.
