MBRP muffler stainless or Aluminzed?
MBRP muffler stainless or Aluminzed?
My question is do I go for stainless or aluminized MBRP muffler? I am only doing the muffler and not the whole exhaust since I am not looking for huge HP gains, just looking for lower EGT's for towing.
Please vote either way you think is best.
Also should I used clamps for the exhaust or would everyone recommend getting it welded on?
For looks a also got a exhaust tip for Hog performance the 4" to 6" tip. I was very happy when I opened the box.
It will look so cool once installed..
Thanks is advance!!

You won't really see lower EGT's by just replacing the muffler. What will drop them is removing the catalytic converter. MBRP makes a cat delete pipe just for that :-)
I voted for SS pipe. The 4" MBRP T304 is what I have. My reasoning was part where I live ( roads are salted a lot ) and part looks. Another benefit IMO is the sound. SS makes a tuned exhaust sound unlike other metals used.
If you want to lower the EGT's some, as I said remove the cat, install a good CAI and that should help.
