Well i have been working with Mag Hytec to resolve this problem. I had a original and sent it back. They then sent me a second one which still rubbed. I just got my third one and it still hits, it is very close. They are going to have to recast it, they have been just taking a larger cut out of the original cast. I will call him this week to tell him. If you are running a 2+ lift you will not have any issues. I am going to wait until they get it right, the Mag-hytec is a way nicer cover than the PML. PML looks cheap !

Actually, I think the PMLs are a higher quality unit - they're certainly designed better; but there's no excuse for Mag-HyTech's fitment issue(s) - especially at the price they're charging. The do look nice, even though I prefer the raw aluminum aesthetic of the PML.

I'll also be replacing the track bar soon with Thuren or Carli. Hope not to have any issues after it's installed.

Rick
Just a little FYI the adjustable track bar Carli sells is Don Thuren's.

If I replace my front one im going to get a PML. I love the rear MH on my truck, but im NOT going to have those fitment issues with MH on the front unless the correct it real quick.

Perhaps I'll take Jerry up on his offer and just design a better one.....I guess it doesn't even matter if it fits or not. This thread chaps my $#%.

Thanks for the heads up. After posting I checked them out and realized both were the same.

I installed all three mags. I have no rubbing up front with Kore suspension, even when running hard offroad. I am very happy with the pans. They look great.

Let's not forget that PML also had the same issues with their front AAM cover in the beginning. I was looking at another PML at Sema in LAS yesterday and they look nowhere near as nice. JMO

First I've heard of that, but I'm glad they fixed it before I bought mine!

No KORE stabilizer here. I've not had any alignment issues or abnormal tire wear.

Since you’re talking about track bars, rumor has it that Don is running a special on these for the next two weeks.

Does the Mag-Hytec unit still have these problems, or have they worked it out yet?

I just talked to them, and they said they don`t know if they are going to revise the cover right now. And that its only some trucks (like mine) that have the problem. I am getting ready to send mine back. I just installed the PMI cover. Its OK. I painted it black, and ordered a magnetic plug for the fill so I have something to remove and clean (like the magnetic dipstick on the MH) I went from 1/8" clearance to more than 1". No more hitting I hope this thread has helped alot of people out. Kevin
