Looking for a Trans removal write-up
Looking for a Trans removal write-up
I am thinking about trying to install a Gorend TC on my own and was searching for a step by step process in removing the stock 48re from my 06. Can anyone here help me out or point me in the right direction? I am confident in my abilities and believe that I have all the right tools but want to avoid any unneeded troubles if possible.
Planning on no more than 450 hp at the crank, so I figured a TC and a possible vb as well along with a 2qt larger pan. Any thoughts or advice, trying to stay under 2K if possible. I do not beat on my truck or race it, just want increased power and effeciancy for towing about 8-10K. Thanks.-Jeremy

I did my tranny in my buddys drive way, If you have basic knowledge of taking it apart you can put it back together, if you have any certain questions feel free to ask me, im not a mechanic or anything but i did (stay at a holiday inn express) lol, do a BV before and my HTS on my own
