looking for a link .....
within the last year, there was a guy on here that lived in Finland or Norway or somewhere like that. He had a built to the hilt truck where the body was custom cut to fit 48" tires or larger. He said there's a company there that builds them like that to handle traversing the ice caps and such.
just wondering if anyone remembers that and may have a save links to the thread. It was a popular one that went pages.

thanks but, no. Same type of build though. The guy that posted here had a Dodge Ram that was built to the extreme. Nothing like we see here in the states. I don't think one truck built here in the states could even compare to it. He said the builds are in the 100K range... a complete retrofit to the truck.
I remember it distinctly. AWESOME looking truck and they were some cool pics too with the terrain that it was driving on. I would like to see that thread resurrected as well. I'll work on it but that was a loooong time ago....
Here's this thread but I know which one your talking about and this isn't it.... still looking....

those others are even more than the guys that was here posted. Look almost like the same truck.
Man, that thing is built !
I agree that is one cool truck and I wish the pics he originally posted were around. The other ones don't even come close. I have exhausted and abandoned my search efforts. Google starting spitting out results that were a little too off the wall for me. Too many results in languages i don't understand and when "pickled ram *********" came up i called it quits...
