I just had some fun for sure - I bumped my TST to 4/4 to see what it would do, I have a slipping clutch and no fuel system and I just RAILED this turbo GTI! This car thought it was all that until I rolled on the fuel and dusted him. The look on his face was priceless when he saw how quickly I was passing and leaving him.

That's all, I just had to gloat and tell some people that could appreciate it!

its fun, I did it to a dude in an eclipse one morning. he took off hard and I was behind him. I pulled hard up on him and came around the side of him passing him at about 75 and he could not stay any where near me.

 

What's really cool is when you get to the level I'm at and you get to do this with equal results to Vettes, F-Birds, Mustangs, Camaros, and just about anything else you can think of in a normal day to day stoplight situation. Whats even better, is normally they will try to get me to pull over to find out what I'm rolling with. Even if I loose, I'm usually rite on their tail and still they flag me down to chat!!!! Cause anyone on the street that has enough to beet me in an unsuspecting stoplight contest has got ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah, I'm really itching to get my clutch and fuel system, then a turbo.

 

ya... I'd bomb my 97 except don't feel like rebuilding my tranny yet!
