lets talk fuel and rail pressure

So I got my guages to monitor fuel and rail pressure and I am wondering what are the ideal numbers. I see 24.5 pounds fuel pressure at idle and 5500 rail pressure. At cruising 70 mph 2000 rpm I am seeing 22.5 fuel and 12,000 rail. Peddle down hitting rpm at 3500 I see 15 pounds fuel and 20,000 rail. But as soon as it shifts to OD rail drops back to around 17,000. Is 15 pounds to low on the fuel pressure? Guys - give me some ideal numbers. Thanks

Rail pressure shouldn't drop below 20k idealy, but 17k isn't too bad if it recovers quickly.
