The Defiant website lists these as being for 03-08 trucks while the PSC website lists them as being for 03-06. Does anyone know of any differences in the front end of the 07-08 trucks that would prevent the PSC from fitting my '08?

I got poly swaybar bushings, Mike's track bar bushings, and the SSSSS on my truck. It really tightens things up. I chose Mike's piece because it actually drops the swaybar back down some too. These things help tighten the steering up by reducing the play in the steering sector shaft and the steering box itself where it attaches to the frame. But if you have other problems with your front suspension like worn joints or trackbar bushing, benefits will be minimal.

If ya dont mind me asking, what did you do to extend the steering box shaft? I'm pretty handy with steel and making one should be no biggie.

the not helping on your buddies truck could be due to already worn ball joints or the like. These things seem to be getting some pretty positive reviews across all the Dodge diesel forums when it comes to putting them on newer trucks (or trucks who have recently had a front steering/suspension overhaul) that are running larger, wider tires. I myself will be putting a PSC unit on my truck in the near future (seems a little beefier than the Defiant model) and will give my honest opinions on it when I do.

wow, 129, ive only seen the dss (30min away from my house) and the lazersmith, ive thought bout making my own, its just a machine bearing, some 2"x 2" box tubing and some plate, i just havent had the time to have a machine shop do the dowel nut. could prolly even weld some solid cold rolled round to the nut if you get a deeper nut and not the jamb style nut that comes on the truck.
