Being as this will be my first of many posts , I'm looking for some input as to mods to my 2006 3/4ton quadcab 4x4.
She now has a whopping 2000 miles on it. I like the power just fine, but given the fact that I'm somewhat of a gearhead, and this is my first diesel rig, Im looking for ideas.
I'm thinking of starting with an airbox, then adding a reprogrammer like the Juice or something similar, then upgrading the exhaust.
Being as I'm not made of $$$, is there a proper order to add mods?
I need the powerlike I need a hole in the head, but I can't help myself.
The only thing I tow is my river sled, and it weighs probly 2000#

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

PS: I am a little spooked about voiding the factory warranty.

 

Welcome to the site, you can find a lot of good info here. Don't know much about the power adders since I don't have one due to warranty.... The common thought around here is, if you like your warranty don't add any power mods to it. Good luck with your truck and decision

 

hey, i say screw the warranty. even if u dont ever put mods on it they can always find someway of getting out of fixing it if they want to bad enough. dont go through life worried about who will fix it if i break it, think about what u will put back in the broken parts place that will be better:-). if u put mods on it and it breaks. just take it off and pray they wont see u had it on it:-) by the way. intake....mines a aem bruteforce cheaper but just as good and very whistly:-) take silencer ring out. thats a good start. good luck

 

WARRANTY depends on you and your dealer. AS to what they will let you get away with. They realy should have no problem with an intake or exhaust.(or gauges)! Start with intake, you already have 4" exhaust just get a different muffler. Next check into some gauges. Then if you want you can add some power. Can't get to high on the power without starting to worry about the tranny.
