Jacobs exhaust brake

My buddy (Who has an 03 CTD) bought a crotch rocket from a guy who claimed to be a Cummins engineer. The guy sold him the bike and gave him a Jacobs exhaust brake for a 3rd gen. My buddy doesn't want it and gave it to me. He said the guy gave him two vacuum pumps and that they are both good, but one was better than the other. I am not sure how to find out which one is the better one though, they both look the same. I have not looked at them real closely yet so I don't know if there are any part or serial numbers anywhere to help me decipher which one from the other. Anyone know? Thanks.

Sorry, can't help with the vacuum pump question, but HOLY CRAP! I wish someone would give ME stuff like that! Too cool!

Yeah, he's like "there's a surprise for you in the backseat" and I saw it and kind of thought, man....you're giving away an 800-1000 dollar part??? It is slightly used, but shoot....I'll put it on. I can't wait to hear the whoooooosh!

Can you post some picture of the pumps and all the stuff you got. Hopefully you got all the parts. It's a easy install, takes 4-5hours by yourself.

I can try to get some tomorrow, it is buried under some boxes I have to take to my storage unit.
I am not sure if I have time to install it myself, unless I did it after work and stayed up late. If my guy is reasonable I may just have him do it.
