Good ole E-Bay has plenty of them...........

Not to gloat, but the pictures just don't do it justice either! Those things are just awesome. I've got Kleen Wheels on the way for all four wheels too. It sure doesn't take long for the red hue to turn up...

4x4not, if nobody buys them they will just sit in the basement until I'm ready to use them myself. I did a move the other weekend that covered the cost of the new ones so it's not killing me to keep them...

How did you open them up? What did you use to open up the center hub?

4.75" hole saw. Man, you have to be careful too because until it gets a good groove going the saw will jump out of the hole and on to the rim!! You definitely need a drill with the bolt on side handle. You will also need some kind of a burr because the holesaw is a tad shy of being big enough. The hole saw will beat your drill up and also your arms. It's kind of like running a jack hammer!!

I have a hole saw and a new burr I will sell for $60.00 shipped..... The hole saw cost me $56.00 and the burr was about $4.00. Used once...

MAN! You are brave! A 4.5" hole saw in a hand held drill cutting an existing hole in a chrome rim! YIKES!

I thought about starting from the back but it would be too easy to drill it off-center. I just held that drill tight and started out slowly until it started making a nice groove.

I understood what you meant. I think brand new rims like these would be really expensive. At that price one would be crazy not to look at the aftermarket!! There's got to be someone up there driving a H2 with the huge rims that has his take-offs for sale. Keep looking.....

Did you wish you had a drill press after the first one?

$80 for mine at a local machine shop...they will either do it on a lathe or CNC if they have one.

Ya! It's beats the crap out of your arms and by the time you're halfway through you have to keep stopping to let the drill cool off because it starts smoking!!
I just didn't have time to run all over creation trying to find someone to do it for me. Plus I didn't want to take the tires off to get it done. Would I do it again? Probably. It wasn't that bad. Plus, you know how good it feels to do it yourself and it actually fits when you're done.... Priceless......

By the way Darkpaladin, I actually wanted a set of the rims you have. I prefer those even to these H2 rims. I bid on a couple sets but gave up when they went past $600.00 for rims only... I'd just get bigger tires put on those rims or if you want to stop by my house we can just swap them out....

Dodgezilla are your H2 wheels the factory chromed ones or the silver wheels chromed? I ask bacause the pictures look like the inner portions of the wheel are smooth and the factory chrome ones I looked at at the H2 dealer look bumpy.

Also what is the part number for the center caps you are using? The dealer said their are two different part numbers for the center caps 52106283AB and 52121450AA. I think one is for the chromes steel wheels and one is for the forged aluminum wheels. I just don't know the difference and don't know which one will fit.

Mine are fully chromed and smooth all over rob. I think the difference in the part numbers for the caps is just chrome or silver. Even if you don't get the chrome rims I would still recommend the chrome caps. They make the silver rims look a little better. Remember, the caps have to be cut to fit too......
