Just had the metal intercooler installed at the dealer. They removed the plastic one. They built so much better

 

Did your plastic unit blow or did they just replace it?

 

I blew the intake end on mine, I've got one ordered but the company that I ordered from gave me the run around so I dropped their butts, and went with someone else that had one in stock. Oh one thing you can't get one from Banks till they get their act together with the guys they got making their intercoolers. I was told that they've got about a month long wait atleast. Banks said that they had some leaking.

 

I won't buy anything from banks. Just seems to me like buying a John Deere Tractor. Paying 50% more for the name. I'm gonna be happy with a stock metal intercooler for now.

 

My plastic one was still ok, i just told the dealer i saw some water marks on it and tehy hooked me up with the new one
