Insight on installing a lift??

Like the title says... Can anyone help me with installing a suspension lift? I'm looking to buy either a 5.5" or 6" lift here soon and wanna know how hard it is and what tools I'd need if I was to do it myself. Any advice and details is appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

A lot depends on what type of lift you choose. Most likely, the rear will just be 4" blocks or something close to that. The front could just be springs, slightly longer control arms, and a few drop brackets. It could also be a "long arm" kit, which involves a little more work. Either way, it shouldn't be the most complicated project you do on your truck...
