Injector kill test?
Injector kill test?
Could I do an injector kill test on my truck by just pulling each injector harness one at a time? I know it will trip some codes but I can erase them with my Smarty. I'm getting white smoke at start up and a constant haze while cruising. I will be taking my truck to the dealer next week, but I was just wondering if this would work too?
To do it right you need a scanner that is capable of doing the test. It is called an injector kill test. The you can measure the amount of fuel that each injector is bypassing. There is a chart that has the limits. I'll see if I can find it.

I forgot about that important fact! It's been a while since I hooked up the TST.
