well, ive been itching to put bio in the mini van for a while.. and today i made the trip..
i was sitting at home this morning with my 2yr ols an 6 mo old, both were starting to get fussy and refuseing to take a nap. i figured throw'm in the truck, take'm for a drive... and since im one of those guys that likes to have some sort of destination when he drives, i figured id make the haul all the way sown south and get some bio from the local grange (140 miles round trip. ) and the trip had a side benifit, the closest crispy cream is right down the street from the bio pump... now there are two other " local" pumps for bio, but they are still atleast 100 miles round trip from my house, so the extra 20 miles each way was easaly justifyed by a doz or three chrispy creams..

any ways, i was at about 680 miles on my current tank and didnt want to learn just how far i could realy push it, i fifgured the 70 miles down would have me on fumes just short of my destination, so i needed to put some dino in.. i figured i was ther, got to put in atleast half atank... any ways i make the run down, top off the tank w/ b99, grab my boxes of sweet bliss and head back onto I-90it took about 10 miles before i startted to notice any diferances... now i got to say i have a fairly well calibrated "seat-o-pants" meater (probably why i cosistantly pull such good#'s out of a tank) and im not guna say bio set the world on fire, but i could feel a diferance, and hear it aswell.

you know the way yor truck responds when you get that elusive tank of realy good fuel? this was a little better than that. iverall by the time i got home, it defenetly seemed smoother and alot quieter, a little snapyer, and hell, short term fuel economy was up a little over a 1mpg, ill keep ya all posted final results of the tank.. esentialy because i had about a half tank its arond 50% bio..

would i buy it again, hell yha, but not unless i was in the area allready, or if they put a pump in closer...

 

...or if I remembered there was a Krispy Kreme near it.
