Imput on exhaust

Been upgrading and looking for info on exhaust, bigger than stock better?, Ill research like i have been to get to where Iam at now, question is, with my upgrade what are the avangtes of bigger exhaust, i know the bigger the faster u put in the faster u go out, how about tech, Lower EGT? what other Gains???????? thanks again friends
