That A5k is not acceptable for what some of us expect for a "daily driver" as he stated it. Are you still runnin' the stocker in your new set up, or did you get a bigger one to run in it's place?

Id say for a good start run a diablo sport preditor with the 200hp tune update, stacked with a dr performance stage 3 or 4 pressure box, and add a good clutch and u should be doing good,

I have the diablosport and dr performance on my 03 with race tranny and it has bin a wicked stack on my 03.

Just my 2 cents

Nick

True.. An aurora 3k would be more suitable... I still have the stocker.. Nathan suggests it's not much more of a power gain to get anything bigger unless I completely upgrade the whole set up... Like an 80 MM s400!!!

little 03 thats the combo i was running on my new truck and was making what i figured with truck weight and e/ts 479hp with the hp calculator. I liked it alot but kept getting a p0148 and he already has a triple dog and can get great power with it i like diablo on the automatics and triple dog on the standards diablo is all low end and triple dog is big end.

So.....if I keep the bully dog, put the outlook on it, buy a tst powermax box, stage 2 cp3, dual feed line, dual disc south bend clutch, make the wily's whistler intake....will that put me around 500? i'd probably need a turbo or something wouldn't I?

Yep those mods along with a II phat shaft 62 or 64mm or a HTT 62 should do it.

When I get the new job I won't be driving in town as much as I do now due to school.

I have a Bully Dog Triple Dog, have the outlook monitor but it's not installed, muffler delete, silencer ring gone, and that's about it.

What are some ideas to get me around 500 or so rear wheel horse and still drive it daily? I've been thinking about selling the bully dog stuff and getting a Smarty and Quad Commander. I've also been looking at the PPE Xcelerator and ATS module that's supposed to put out 215 horse. Anybody know anything about those two?

Just want to make sure I have this right....you want 500 HP, yet you are worried about fuel economy?

I guarantee my truck would make 475 for yes $600 is all i have in it diablo sport predator and a dr. performance 2021, stock intake, stock exhaust not straight piped, stock lift pump, and stock cp3. $4500 is way high 500hp especially with a manual trans., auto is a different story and i am not saying my trans likes it as me and shane luvanacummins are about the only crazy fools trying to prove some points with the stock trans. and his just took a dump. If you really want to find out send me a pm with your phone # and i will invite you to attend when i put it on a dyno.

With clutch granted look at a aftermarket lift pump either GDP or FASS, a diy cp3, maybe dual feed line, and a turbo of your flavor either II or HTT no bigger then a 64mm for sure that will give you some growing room.
