Thanks guys!
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. Half of Columbus has been without power for sometime. I have no idea what kind of storm came through, but only lasted about 5 minutes and trees were down everywhere. I am finally back up and running.
To the questions!!!
I don't mind telling what I have into the Lambo, because I have been very fortunate to get very good deals and to be doing a lot of the work myself (with the help of experts for I am not the most mechanically inclined person in the world!). I will actually be right around $300,000 into the car which is one of the reasons I am so proud of it because it will be so far superior to any brand new Murciélago coming out, even the new LP640, and yet I still will have paid $30,000-$50,000 less than what they did!
With my truck, I paid $41,000 and have about $14,000 into it (not including shipping costs), but will have all of the stuff on the truck HOPEFULLY by the end of next week, assuming that it all starts to arrive ON TIME!
I am definitely going to call magazines when I am done because I love to share my passion for cars (and trucks) with fellow enthusiasts.
As far as the aesthetics of the vehicle, whilst I want to do stacks, there are a few factors keeping me from doing that: noise in the cab, the need for an aux. fuel tank, and the need for a hard fiberglass tonneau cover. What I AM going to do, however, is have ALL badging removed, the chrome side step replaced with black power ones, chrome trim on the doors removed, and the grill replaced with a black one as well as the front & rear bumpers painted black, and my front fender flares in black as well. I will then have the wheels powdered coated black so that my truck has the same "stealth" feel that my Lambo does. I would love some black coated short stacks (to the height of the cab) coming out the back, but sadly, I will have to go with one 5" black side exhaust

There really is nothing like the sensation these types of machines can give you. I mean, as my car sits now, I have had her to 208 on I-270 here in Columbus and it's addicting as hell! My top speed in the new version of my car will probably be at or just below the old top speed of 215, because of gearing and all, however, it will do the standing mile at about 30mph higher than before, which has to be many seconds faster (not quite sure how many). It should be in the low 190's in the standing mile which is definitely what I am setting it up for!

Why?? I don't think me out there with a paint brush is the way to go!!!
My personal opinion is to NOT remove all the chrome on the truck. It has an EXCELLENT contract with the black, and makes that truck just look sweet. The only think I'd change was the steps. Something lower profile, and in black.
But hey, it's your truck

I love the hood, and the Road Armor. I have the full front cage and rear wrap around with tire carrier on my H2 (actually I just took it off to sell it) and I love the stuff. What I don't know is whether or not the aftermarket hoods will fit on the new '06 body style. I wish they had kept the "big rig" look of '03-'05, that was my favorite!
Thanks for all of your compliments guys! I will keep you posted as the truck progresses through its mutation from mild to wild!!
