I've got 20's w/ 305/55 Nittos w/ 2" level kit, it doesn't look low/pro, and I'll offroad w/ the best of ya! Yeah a shorter sidewall = harsher ride but if you have 10 ply tires as you should, you aint got no plush ride as it is!

 

Sooooo, we cant do 22" w/ SPINNERS???

 

What is the actual wieght rating for your tire? 3195 lbs each if I recall correctly...for your "10 ply" tire.

My lowley D rated BFG 37" MTs are rated at 3525 lbs each...LOL.

People NEED to get over the way outdated method of describing a tires weight carrying ability by amount of plys...

Would you rather have 10 plys (if half of them are bias and the rest are steel) or 8 plys (if all of them are steel or better)????

The final wieght caring capacity of the tire is what is most important. A 55 profile on a tire that small is for the street. We can go "wheeling" anytime.

 

Maybe I should reword that better, I want cool tires!!! Something different than the ole' BFG's! Im thinking I want to go up the the 315/75's!

Pimpslapping a guy named BossHogg or punching him might not be a good idea, He could be 6' 4" 275lbs w/ 9yrs of Brazilian JiuJitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing, but I dont know, thats a guess. We are all the same size on here though!!

I do like the nitto's and the toyo's, I was thinking in that direction anyway. I do like the idea of the cheap coopers and others, but not sure what will look better on my new H2's? Well the machinist just called as I was typing and Im picking them up and taking them to the PC!

I have a few friends running the Cooper MT in the 35x12.5x17 size...they do look nice.

Got these for my winter tires. They are excellent riding and for the 4-5k miles i put on em this winter they seemed like they would wear good. they are a d rated tire though. The only real differnce is the extra sidewall has more squirm than my 35" cepecks on 20" rims.

Well I called around and the coopers arent that cheap in a 35 x12.50. What has a good agressive tread that isnt a mud tire. I run a buch on the hwy and dont want to run into death wobble agian anytime soon. Whats the best A/t or maybe a mud tire that would wear good on the hwy.

...I dont really like the look of the mastercraft, but they are ok. I want something as agressive or more agressive than the bfg!

20s looked good but 18 look better on my 06... to me.

 

I am running 20's with toyo mt's and I love them. I was not a fan of the bigger rims but that was the only tire/rim size I could get with a 6" Lift. I wanted to stay with my original 17" rims but they couldn't find any toyo's in a 37" tall tire. So I opted to go with the larger rim and I don't regret it! I get so many compliments. There is a guy on here with 40's and 17's and I love the fact that there is so much tire. I was afraid of that when I ordered the 20's that there would be too much rim and no tire. I did see a set of 35's on 20's and it wasn't my taste too much rim.. and no tire.

 

See, now THAT looks nice! Perfect combo of tire and wheel size. If I ever get another tow rig I might just go up to a 6" lift and do something like that. Get myself a 20" wheel and then get a set of Kumho MT KL71s in the 37x13.5x20" flavor. But that is too tall IMO for a rig used for towing. Not that I get to use my trailer much anyway
