WELL AFTER READING ALOT ON THIS SITE I FINALLY SPOKE TO BOB AND BOUGHT SMARTY JR FOR MY TRUCK , CAN,T WAIT TO SEE WHAT EVERYONE TAKING ABOUT . I AWAYS HAD EDGE EZ 1000C BUT FROM WHAT YOU GUYS SAY I THINK THIS MUST BE A BIG DIFF IN POWER . I JUST HAVE ONE ? I KNOW ILL GET 100 HP BUT HOW MUCH TOURQUE WILL I GET WITH JR ??

As for the torque, general rule of thumb is torque is twice as much hp. 100hp increases would be roughly 200trq, give or take. Now thats just a rule of thumb and is not a given, but atleast gives you an idea of where it should be...

 

Bob is the man!! He has helped me out a couple of times when I ran into a problem. I have met with him in person and is a very good guy. Even 1500 miles from home he was trying to help others out.

 

Have to agree , I think out off everyone that i talked to on diff chips & programers Bob explained the most how diff thing worked and thats why I went with the smarty also .

 

What you will like most is the total performance and not just horsepower. With the economy setting, I can get 30 pounds of boost at moderate throttle entering the freeway. If I go full throttle, almost instantly I have 35 pounds.
