howards turbo timer

howards turbo timer

fineally got around to installing mine and have a slight problem. throws codes, expected that, was told it might no big deal. however, at shut down truck idles rough, i assume fueling and then picks up to semi normal. to tired to swap now but will try other tap tomorrow. any others have these symptoms.

Sounds like it doesn't agree with where you have it hooked up. Make sure the ground is a good one and check your fuse tap as well as which fuse you have it hooked to.

What color wire do you have the "keep alive" wire from the box going to? I think my BD Cooldown Timer uses the Pink/Green? It does make the ABS light come on when it is cooling down though.

I have a Blitz turbo timmer and mine doesnt set codes and so far everything seems fine.. It does make the brake light come on tho..

ground is good. wired per instructions have tried all combinations truck runs like a four banger the corrects itself, afraid to use as this cannot be good. all sort of codes and have passed them on to howard for his rebuttal. abs light and some others are expected just means the pcm is doing its job. thanks for the replys.

It was a long holiday weekend out here in Utah, so I'm sure he went camping with the yunguns.

I have a Howard's turbo timer and think it's the cat's meow. I have an 03 HO with a 6 shooter and have nothing but good to say about his product. I followed his instructions and have had no problems. Hopefully Howard will get back with you.
