How are the new Juice/Attitudes? No reviews yet?
Has anyone gotten one WITHOUT the attitude? While it has 3 power levels instead of 5 or so, I was trying to find out what the levels were. Well after reading the instructions on edge's site for install, I found that they dynoed their test truck with the juice and no attitude. Results were:
Level 1 - 25 hp 80 tq
Level 2 - 40hp 120tq
Level 3 - 80 hp 200 tq
So I guess you only give up 20 hp if you don't get the attitude. Not quite as bad as I had thought, assuming the level differences were the same as they were with the attitude installed.
I think it's really cool that the power is incrementally added as the engine temp rises and not 100% power until it's fully up to temp. Also no timing advance occurs until full operating temp also. Nice little protection there.

AK, all the backdown features can be disabled for a period of 1-10 minutes or so for track days..
I think that would include the temp related power settings as well, but that could be a good question for anyone that happens to call edge on the phone. It also says that it increases fueling percentage according to increases in temp - so at 170 your percentage would be in the high nineties I would guess. Again remember this box is designed to be friendly to the truck, and they supposedly have a 'hot' box coming out...so maybe we shouldn't expect features designed for drag racing out of this box..
