How much boost?

I am running the super Phat shaft 6280, no head studs or oring in the head. I have it set to run around 40psi while towing. I am thinking about raising it to about 45 for towing,, do you think that would be a problem? How much can I go to before I get into trouble?

i run mine at 45psi. I just dont do anything fun until the motor is completely warm. I wait and watch the water temp gauge for it to go up to half, then drop down a bit and stabilize; meaning the thermostat has open and is regulating temp. then all parts have expanded and sealing is good. really quick way to blow a head gasket, generate lots of boost on a cold motor. really bad with iron block, aluminum head. ask the dmax and psd boys.
