Title says it all I need a turbo and found a used super b special for 1100. Will it make a good turbo for twins later? Is it better than stock =? I want twins but cant afford it. Adding stixs and studs and hope this turbo would work for now. Getting a clutch also.

I understand they are a nice improvement over stock, But the $1100.00 price tag is too steep for a used Super B.

Can you inspect it first? For axial and radial play, look at the housing closley for signs of the compressor hitting it, check turbine and compressor fins for cracks or damage.

I believe you can find a brand new one for that amount, and it would make a great top compressor for a set of compounds later.

Just my thoughts, Jess

He talking about the Special not the regular one, IMO thats a good deal. Dont hold me to this, but I think that turbo is a 64/71/14 sized turbo so youll want injectors to help lite them especially w/ 37s

Thats kinda what I was thinking I believe they are about 1800 brand new so I figured if its in good shape that isnt that bad of a deal plus its been for sale forever so I bet he would take 1000. BTW thanks for the tips on turbo inspection.
