How crazy is the Crazy Larry?
Typically without just down right abusing the truck how long can you go with Crazy Larry without causing damage? Can it be installed and taken out for a short spin and then changed back to a more sensible power level without having any ill effects?
This is a question that is almost impossible to answer, ya you probably will be fine running it every once and awhile, but stuff can break. The question you should ask yourself is will I run it every once and awhile, and the answer is NO. I promise you will end up doin a burn out or smoking out a tailgater or racing your buddies ford. It has happened to everyone on this site. This **** is like a drug so come on in the water is warm!
crazy larry?
sorry, I don't have a clue as to what the crazy larry is, but a lot of people are beginning to talk about it. I have a brand new 2006, I am waiting for the smarty, but maybe the crazy larry is similar? please help with any info
O and your truck sucks
i drive crazy larry all the time....but i have a FASS and DTT mods.
we put it on my buddy's truck yesterday...no problems. his truck is stock and he runs around on performance alot.
you will get addicted to it. thats why i did FASS and DTT mods before any programmers or modules.
ps when my truck was totally stock, i burnt up some stuff in the tranny TOTALLY STOCK.
if you want to come to midlothian, assuming you know where that is, i can let you try out the crazy larry and hook you up with a great DTT guy!

I drive with my Crazy Larry all the time also. It does not seem to raise the total rail press either. Over 3k rpm only reads about 24k psi of rail press. It does bring the press on quick though. So long as you have a drivetrain to hold it and use some sense you should be fine. Tim
