I am wiring a tuner and need t know which wire under the dash would work for a switched 12v power source. Could someone please tell me the color of a good one to use?

That would be a 2006 Ram 3500

 

I'm sure someone can give you a specific wire but I usually use a test light to find one.

 

Tap it off the cigarette lighter.

 

On my 07 there's a blue connector just inside the removal panel located on the drivers side of the dash. The panel is accessible with the drivers door is open. One of the contacts is hot with switch on. This connector, I believe is for the memory pedals. I used this connector to wire the hot side of my gauges to.
