hooked up Quad xzt connector backwards, now what?

while re-installing my xzt i mistakenly hooked up the 3 wire connector backwards, needless to say the truck would not start. now after hooking it up properly the truck runs but i now have an engine light. could i have damaged anything, and how can i turn off the light? btw, the xzt now lights up correctly after hooking it up properly and gives a green blink as its fourth blink.

I think it will go away after 3 or 4 key cycles.

I not only hooked a connector backwards, I then started it without putting in the correct truck or chip and threw 3 or 4 codes. I unhooked the batteries and got rid of CEL and all but one code which I still have. Don't think you hurt anything but a little pride.
