an IC does not drop your egt's by 200, thats wrong info. a turbo, and a IC then your tallking 200-300 drop in egt''s.

Don't know 3rd gen but I only dropped 50* with aftermarket intercooler.
Bigger turbo is best bet. H2O/Meth with a progressive controller will drop temps 200* for all but WOT.... great for towing. And temps climb much slower if WOT.
Just keep the meth down to 20% or less if egt's are main concern.

I go through way too much water to add any meth... 1000+ lph = about 150* drop for me. The CAC was worth about 75-100*.

I would go in order: CAM, CAC, then water. Address your breathing first, then add water. Reason? The cam and CAC are working all the time... you can run out of water, and will.

I have the 7 gal tank. I will go through 1/2 of it after three runs on the 1/4 mile.

While towing, I will go through a tankful after about 75-100 miles if I set it low enough.

For just cruising empty and no pedal mashing, one tank will last from 450-600 miles, or about the same as a tank of fuel.

thats over a full gallon for 1 pass down the track, that doesnt sound right at all to me, but if it works for you its all good. now that i think of it, if i hold a gallon of water upsidedown it takes a little over 10seconds, so do tell.

I know the pro stock tractors that pull down my way burn 5+ gallons per pass. An average pass is 10 seconds.

Don't know what to say, that is just my experience. It is a Snow stage 3 kit, but usually keep the "coming on point" rather low.

turbo and cam before i/c...Mike Lazar (XLR8R aka Lazarsmith) tested some aftermarket i/c's and was telling me they didn't flow better with any of his fancy tools the diff was almost unmeasurable...

I agree try this first. If your going to add water it takes more than a simply kit to get any real benefit. I am running 5-625 nozzles a 220psi pump and a 150psi pump. Snow stage 3 comes on at approx 10psi boost on boost setting for the 220 pump and first 3 nozzles and hobbs switch makes next 2 nozzles come on after 35 psi. I do go through alot of water though. I only use were water is allowed if not I just live with the high egts for a short period even with all the above items with same turbo.

An intercooler is going to give you more and doesnt require a tank to be filled up. It is the upgrade that just keeps on giving. Our intercooler definately flows way better than stock, has a much higher efficiency ratio and a much larger surface area. The intercooler is definately going to be a better route for every day driving.

i agree that it is better then stock, hands down. but you aint going to see no 200 degree drop from just an IC upgrade alone.
