Exclamation HID lights! help needed

i bought a set of lights and they are flickering, with the lamp out indicator on. I know this has been talked about many times but where exactly do i need to install the relay or resistor i use? do you install it into the trucks wiring harness or into the hid kit? also what size resistor? i am in need of help asap i have to go back to work in Louisiana tonight and have no way of accessing the page. Thanks for any help as usual

i Had my lights wired yesterday, they work fine, he installed a capacitor i think 1000mm, the fogs work, low beam works, but my high beam flicker and shut down then return to low,
we cut the low beam signal wire and jumped to the corner light power, I have a pic here which I got from a caliber form, I might try this tomorrow

For the '02-05 Rams four 6 ohm 50w load resistors are needed. One for the low beam, one for the high beam circuit for each side of the vehicle.

On '06 and newer just one load resistor is needed, attaches to the low beam circuit on either side of the vehicle.

MikeyB, I have a 1000uf capacitor, on my low beam side, when the truck is running and I engage high beam they will flicker 3-4 times then turn back to low beam, I was thinking I need a resistor/capacitor on the high beam side also, do you know anything about this? truck has DRL, and fogs enabled with high beam, 2007 5.9, it also get its switched power from the side marker light

I recommended a 6 ohm 50w load resistor.

Do you have Bi-Xenons or dual Xenons?

Ditto to what Mikey said. I have an 03 and had to install the resistors for everything to work properly (no flickering and no Lamp Out Msg)
