My hid kit came in and the power harness has the older 3 prong adapter. All of the plugs on the back of the fuse panel are the smaller multi pin types. Can any of you help me on this installation. The local installers couldn't make sense of it as the kit came with very little instructions. Is there an adapter kit that will go from the three prong to the multi pin or is there a way to splice the wires into my trucks wiring? Thanks

 

My HID kit was "plug and play" but it wouldnt work on my 03 because the headlights are computer controled and the HID's have more/less resistance and gave a lamp out and wouldnt light. This is a knowen problem so I found out that you can swap the headlight circut for the fog light circut and visa versa. So the foglight switch will now control the HID's. Its took some cuting and splicing but I got it to work.

Alot of kits are different and this may or may not be your problem. I dont know if 06 is different then 03

Sounds like all you need to do is cut and splice the wires correctly.
