Headrest DVD Monitor
Headrest DVD Monitor
I'm sure several people have these, my question is how are they holding up. I"m thinking about adding a DVD player to my truck so my son can watch movies on our long trips. I'm looking for some advise on what model and where to buy them. I thought about the roof mount design but the headrest might be a cleaner look, maybe it won't work as well, I don't know. My second question is how hard are they to install. I have some skills but don't want to get all jammed up with an instalation nightmare. Any haelp is appreciated.
what I did a couple years ago was go to walmart and buy the two screen set up that straps onto your headrests. It has a DVD player and two seperate screens for $249. I have been through a couple of cars with it and you can take it out when not in use or when you sale the car/truck. I use it on every road trip we make in either of our vehicles.
I think this is the best system. CLICK ME it is a bit pricy. I don`t have it, but I want it. And you can use it in other cars as well. You send them back, and they put them in a different headrest. I have a wal mart set up now, but I really want the vizualogic.
This is a vizualogic head rest but I swapped out the vizualogic monitors for eclipse monitors. The vizualogic monitors were not as clear as the eclipse ones. As far a fit and finish the head rest are outstanding, the monitors were pre-wired with the cables running through the headrest bars. The color match was perfect too. This would be the easiest way to go.
