head stud question
head stud question
I was looking around e-bay to check prices. One guy lists a 247-4202 part number for 98.5 to 2002 Cummins' for $425. Another guys lists studs for a 98.5-2007 at like $525. So my quesiton is, are the $425 studs what one would want for an 06?
Here they are:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ARP-H...spagenameZWD1V
and
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...spagenameZWD1V
Thanx.

Same difference...problem is one seller doesnt know or care that the new engines use the same studs.
Head studs
Ok,... I have them (arps) and obviously thought I needed them to spend that kind of money for them.,..... But then I talked to RC *** and he's making 1200hp (or thereabouts) with STOCK ones and stock head gasket.
Obviously all of us who have spent the $$$ felt we needed them. Not so sure anymore.
