Hello,

With my bddl set on tow or performance, and my tst set at 4/4 or 5/4 or even 4/2 I get a popping sound like it maybe coming from the intake manifold popping back some. Truck never looses power and keeps accelerating smoothly and forcefully. With the stock setting and 4/4 or 5/4 I don't hear it anymore. It only happens around 2700 to 2900 rpm.


Any clues? Fuel filter clean and air filter clean and running fass fuel pump. Could it be too much timing by the bddl ? I hope I can resolve this b/c this stack yields very good power at performance mode and 4/4 or 5/4.

could it be caused by that rail pressure relief valve?

 

Could be that the stack is sucking the fuel rail dry! I could be way off though!

 

I was thinking when he let off the throttle the rail pressure spikes and pops open the relief valve.
