Has anybody ever dyno'd a Smarty Jr?
...on an otherwise stock 325/610 truck?
If so, what were the results?
I know the Jr is supposed to make 30/70/100 on the three settings, just looking for someone who has actually tested it.
TIA.

Yep, It does deliver the full 100 horse and almost 200ftlbs increase at the rear wheels. The real surprise is that on the timing only sw1 setting the torque is increased by about 100ftlbs on the most advanced setting. Awesome lil' programmer! If you can find AH64id he has some very interesting dyno sheets. If you have any more questions ask. I can post some links to some of the dyno sheets if you want.

Yeah I was curious with my rig if I could hit 400hp. My fass is good for 450hp and with the 351 I should have enough air but will the JR give me enough fuel on my '03. I can see over 35psi and have seen 1250 F on the pyro but it took a long big hill to get it there. I am not modded too much at all but a TDR 400HP license plate would be cool. I have an edge ez that I could throw on for a dyno run but I was hoping the JR would do it.

Stock a truck is supposed to be 280 + 130 = 410 hp. With my truck I should be able to squeak past 400hp. No dynos close by someday I might get her done. I did a search on Smarty Jr dyno #'s and found old posts about the original software posting quite good #'s. I have downloaded the 5.10 software and it seems to work quite well.

I dyno'd my truck stock with an AFE stage II intake and made 282hp. Then dyno'd with the JR beta version (pre-Revo) stacked with an Edge EZ with both on level 3 and made 422hp/854 TQ.

isn't it a rule of thumb that per every one pound of boost equals ten horsepower. So 40lbs of boost equals 400 horsepower.
Not positive or sure on this but that is what i have heard.

So before the revo software you just had a power level to choose from? Mine has the 5.07A software and trying (like hell) to see which settings between sw/tm/tq put the most power to the ground.

There is an excellent reference to the Smarty Jr and what the settings are all about in a thread here . . called something like Smarty 101 for the slow folks . . something like that.
