I have a new dually on order (on a **** slow train between TX and Denver right now) and ordered the U Connect hands free option. I have seen a picture that showed the buttons for this on the bottom of the rear view mirror. I've also seen pictures where it is a small module installed on the dash.

Did anyone get U Connect from the factory (not after market) and if so, where are the controls?

I'm wondering how it works, in particular the speaker phone option.

 

I believe the small module on the dash is for the kit which you can installed if you don't have the factory hands free kit.

Panel if you add it later. what I have.

Would I do it again, I guess get it from the factory.
I did like the ease of install with the dodge kit. factory connectors and wiring harness. Easy install.

Do they work better than any other bluetooth kit, I dont think so. I have gone to using a bluetooth ear piece now. callers can hear me better.

 

Mine are on the bottom/left of the rear view mirror. Its a pretty clean setup...
