I just installed a nokia handsfree phone kit in my truck. I have the Infinity sound system with the AM/FM Cassette/CD stereo. Can anyone tell me if there is a wire coming out of the stero that I can hook the mute function up to? Thanks in advance!

 

I have a Nokia 3360 and had a local installer do it when I got the truck. It's definitely tied into the stereo. Anytime you touch a button on the phone, it mutes the radio. I believe it's the Nokia CARK-133 full car kit, with a separate antenna and holder. It was mounted on the left of the radio about even with the top of the dash. I find it very convenient and won't drive a vehicle while holding a phone in my hands.

If you don't have a manual for it, you might try contacting Nokia support or a local installer to help out. I'm probably going to install some gauges soon, and will take a look when I do. Hope this helps a bit.
