Handed the keys over today..............
Those runs were made with the standard 3500 rpm file. Remember they were done for a before and after comparison between the stock cam/springs and aftermarket pieces. I wouldn't twist Buddy's motor to 4K without his permission on stock parts. So, to be fair with the comparison I made the pulls afterward with the same set up.
I did however load the 4K tune on the run when I used software level 9. Unfortunately the truck did not make as much power so I did not bother to post the graph. I also did not take it to 4K on that run. It was only loaded with the 4K tune to see if it would fuel any harder up on the top end.

Bswope, your running a crank driven fuel pump. Right? I'm just asking why the truck fell off at 3k and with tntr you can run 4k. I would love to have a cam and springs intalled. But if it's not going to pull to 4k, then why do it. Please understand I'm just asking questions! I have about 2k miles till I hit 100k. I have a turbo from Loyd and fuel system ready to go in. I want cam and springs I just wondering if is worth it.
Well i'm not real sure, i have a set limit i want to spend right now, i need to talk to Lloyd to talk about labor rates so i can figure that in to get the most done that i can and still be able to pay him for his wonderful talent, all i have now is a smarty, 5" exhaust, intake and a dual disk, i have a airdog that i am going to try to put on this weekend, so my initial plan was to get a stage 3 pump, headstuds, and valve springs, save somemore money, go see him again and get a charger and injectors. You have any suggestions for me, i am still undecided for the most part!

I didnt figure it would make any more power on that VS SW#7 so I never loaded it.Hmmm..... wonder how easy it would be to talk me into a set of Flux's right now!!!!!!

Your certainly headed in the right direction and far as insurance (studs&springs) Id add a coolant bypass to that list for more insurance...
and the Stage 3 pump is a good I dea as well if your looking for power levels above 700!!
A Floor It stage 3 is on my list as well as sticks!!As far as a turbo im gonna suggest a 64/17/13ss! That charger is really starting to impress alot of people and it is quickly becoming the turbo of choice for ALOT of guys.... It is capable of 600-650hp with the right setup.
But its all up to you on what kinda power your looking for and what it is you will be doing with the truck!!
i don't know how i missed this thread but congratulations on getting that cam installed buddy. the only piece of the puzzle that you're missing now are those sticks and if i know you.....those will be coming soon
Man Sticks and a Stage 3 pump and I should be able to hit my goal of 650!!
Jason could you tell a big difference when you added the MP-8 to the mix???
Thanks Jason!! Im gonna start working on selling some of the stock parts I have lying around to try and get me some Flux's maybe!!
