After I bored my wheels, the double lug nut approach would not work. The lug stems were too short. Could't seem to get another lug nut on there. Perhaps I am missing something here?

I got the wheels last night. Unwrapped them today and noticed there is a half moon shape where the hummer wheel caps index on the wheel that is not covered when the dodge cap goes on. No one ever mentioned it before. Is this normal.

I went with the Double lug nuts It works fine and looks great. I think by far its the easiest way to go.

I went with the stock hummer hub caps and think it looks a lot cleaner. A little bondo and some paint nothing to it.

I bought a complete set of chrome H2 wheels, tires, lugnuts, and center caps off E-bay in the spring, $725 shipped to my door.
The setup had less than 4000 miles on them.
I had a buddy machine the centers without having to remove the tires.
I used the double lugnut setup to mount my original Dodge center caps.
I actually used the original H2 lugnuts as the second set, they aren't the correct thread size but they went on the couple turns needed to seat against the first set of lugnuts.
I used needle nosed piers and carefully bent the fingers in on the Dodge center caps. The center caps fit REAL tight and have seen 70 plus mph, gone through the local automatic car wash and have been hammered by some good sized potholes and haven't fallen off.
The offset on the H2 wheels with the 315 tires seems to be just about perfect compared to some of the other aftermarket wheels that really hang out of the truck's body.

That's where you stick the tool in to pry off the caps. Make your own "L" shaped tool or use a big screwdriver.

What a great deal that is, I'd jump at one like that.
Mostly I see them go for around $1000 PLUS shipping.
Me being a Canuck I'd have them shipped to a bud's just over the line and pick them up.

BTW, what kinda flaresd are those?

Only if you're coating them. I bought chrome. So.....

No it's not. There's two pry slots in the wheel and a half moon. There's a tab on the back of the Hummer caps that's a half moon too. It indexes the center cap. It's not a pry slot.

The flares are Bushwacker OE Style.
They were another E-bay score at $50 for a complete set, new in box.

Opps my bad, sorry forgot you had the chrome wheels, I would say trim down the lip on a stock cap and slap it on.

Shure you can, once again with a little bondo, paint and this time an extra cap and some glue you can make it work.
